Negotiation

    • Medical conditions for both parties (allergies, asma, STD’s, diseases, seizures, back or spine problems, etc)

    • Any medications taken by either party even over the counter (aspirin, blood thinners, Inhalers?  Where is it?, EpiPen?  Where is it?, etc)

    • Any known psychological triggers (slapping, name calling, etc)

    • What has gone wrong in any past play sessions

    • Setting a safe word and discussing if the bottom is capable of using a safe word while in sub space

    • Is marking acceptable and if so where (Do they work tomorrow and what isn’t covered by their work clothes, will they see a doctor next week?)

    • Limits what do they not want to happen

    • What have they liked in the past, what would they like to try

    • What does the Dom like to do?  What kind of Skills does he have?

    • Sexuality, what level of sexuality is acceptable? (will gloves and condoms be used?)

    • After care requirements, laying down? Food? Water?  Blanket? How long to recover?

While negotiation is usually driven by the Dominant the submissive should not be shy in insuring her questions are answered also.  What background does the Dom have?  Who taught him how to do the fire play he wants to do?  Does he have a heart condition?  Is he at risk of seizures?
